I am a PhD student in Spain. I started working with OpenFOAM 4 years ago and using it both for research purposes and for applications in the industry. At the moment researching on porous media applications for computational simulation of fishing nets. I used openFOAM for many other steady and transient cases to simulate underwater bodies. I also tried to link Dakota with openfoam for design optimization purposes.
