Matthew Simones received a bachelor's and master's degree in mechanical engineering from Minnesota State University, Mankato and a doctorate in nuclear engineering from the Nuclear Science and Engineering Institute (NSEI) at the University of Missouri. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at NSEI with research interests in aerosol mechanics and fission product transport.
