I use OpenFOAM for the simulation of one phase flows in power plants, especially for heat transfer and mixing effects. OpenFOAM should be compared to other computational fluid dynamics solver, especially ANSYS CFX. I am interested in automatic mesh generation, the coupling of OpenFOAM with other (1 D) solvers and turbulence modelling.
