BSc in Electrical Engineering (Politecnico di Milano, Italy, 2007). MSc in Nuclear Engineering (Politecnico di Milano, Italy, 2009). PhD in Nuclear and Energy Engineering (Politecnico di Milano, Italy, 2013). PostDoctoral fellow in the fast reactors group at the Paul Scherrer Institut (Switzerland), responsible for the activities related to multi-physics reactor modelling with OpenFOAM. Currently working on the creation of a new OpenFOAM-based tool for steady-state and transient analysis of nuclear reactors. The solver includes coarse/fine-mesh thermal-hydraulics, neutron diffusion and thermal-mechanics.
